With the new website project I was free to design the site anyway I felt, with the only requirement of having the option to order the book online. Using the book artwork for inspiration I designed the overall look to be very similar layout wise with the airplane coming in on the left and content in center right. The site features excerpts from the book, and an interactive order form. The form while creative posed some browser compatibility issues that actually hindered the viewer from filling out the form. After investigating the issue I was able to resolve the issues by creating a separate version of the form when being viewed by certain browser types. After launching the site, the book orders poured in and comments about the site have been nothing but praise for its design.
